Last month we took a trip up north to Lamphun’s Li district where we went to visit ‘Phra Bat Huai Tom’ village, a Karen-tribe silversmithing collective led by artisan Dada.

We were joined by photographer, Olivia Tran, who captured beautiful imagery of Dada and her incredible all-woman team of artisans in our SS25 collection featuring our “Karen-Punk” silver jewellery collaboration.

Traditionally the art of Karen-silversmithing is passed down generations through the male line of the family, but Dada has taken on this intricate art form to preserve craftsmanship, authenticity, and as a way of honouring her heritage.

This editorial is incredibly special as we were able to see the process and the skills it took to produce our very own silver ring.

The W’menswear “Spinning for a Revolution” collection examines how the invention of the bicycle gave women newfound freedoms since the early 19th century. It is women cyclists who have turned traditional female propriety on its ear, and this collection sets out to celebrate the spinning revolution.

W’menswear ‘Karen Punk’ jewellery and SS25 ‘Spinning for a Revolution’ is available now at wmenswear.com and our trusted retail partners worldwide.
