Land ahoy! New Papa Nui hats have been unloaded from the cargo and are now available at PTJ+S. Our favourite Aussie hat designer John Tesoriero (aka the Papa) who makes the most hard working hats in Japan and America has created some new styles for us based on deep research into authentic melon protectors from the 1940s til the Cold War.
We love the new caps in bright safety yellow and army green which Pap's took swatches from the original US Naval colour charts; the Japanese melton wool 38th Parallel cap in red based on the 731st squadron in Korea which has been chain stitched to perfection; and the Beachmaster bucket hats in Italian camo - a Papa Nui debut over here for the bucket hat shape!
In celebration of this goodness, we've prepared a little inspiration on how to wear these great new styles.
