This week we welcome the world’s pearls of wisdom into the Kingdom of Thailand for the 2015 One Young World summit, an organisation that voices young peace makers, environmentalists, sustainable business advocates, and delegates of equality on a global stage. It comes at a time where the world is seeking freedom, comfort, answers, and guidance after recent terror attacks and the overwhelming number of refugees seeking hope, yet the message is simple: live life like you have the freedom that we humans are entitled to.

At the end of the day that’s the entire point – to motivate and inspire people to have strength, will, and perhaps courage to make their own mark on the world and it’s many issues. To live like you would in the ultimate situation is as powerful as anything.

Here I had the delight of presenting my Bangkok, my home and heritage, to the world for the opening ceremony – and to share stage with a very inspiring ‘great’ indeed, Kofi Annan, who radiates goodness through his calm and collected composure (even if I was just on the screen!)
