PTJ ALPINO / TOKYU HANDS, TRUCK MARKET POP-UP STORE! / NISEKO GRAND HIRAFU

Tokyu Hands: My happy place. Hands have been setting up pop-up stores across the country that sell nicknacks and location-appropriate wares of all sorts. All sorts seems to be a perfect word to describe them. In true Japanese form, the Hands buyers have taken into consideration every need and want that an unexacting passer-by could ever dream of, like an origami sushi set, or perhaps one would like a device that exercises your mouth to prevent those cheeks from getting too plump. My PTJ Alpino trip wouldn’t have been complete without some sort of omiyage (souvenir / gift) from the Hands Truck Market, where I ended up getting a limited edition Work Hands X Beams bandana and a purple ball that projects the solar system onto the ceiling when placed in a body of water. Again, my happy place. I spent a couple of hours playing in store…. (no shame!)
